Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at CandleZone.ie (the “Website”). By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Using this Website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.
Any reference in these terms and conditions to “we” or “us” refers to Candlezone
Pricing are given on the basis of costs at the time of issue. Candlezone.ie does retain the right to revise our prices at any time to reflect changes in our costs such as but not limited to: goods, carriage, labour, overheads, government taxes and exchange rates.
You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. We will send you an order acknowledgement by email, detailing the products you have ordered.
Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
We may refuse to accept an order:
(a) Where goods are not available
(b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment
(c) If there has been a pricing or product description error
(d) If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions
(e) If your order for personalised products contains content which is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience.
(f) If we believe your order is for commercial or other non-domestic concerns.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted, and in any event within the time stipulated. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, we may inform you of the delay and the reason for the delay as soon as is practical.
SHORTAGES & DAMAGE - Please advise our Customer Service Department of any problems with shortages or carrier damage within 5 days of receipt. We regret that beyond this time, due to circumstances beyond our control we may be unable to process your claim.
We accept payment online by VISA, Visa Debit, MasterCard & Paypal. You may also pay 'offline' via Bank Draft, or Postal Order. VAT is charged at the current rate where applicable. Goods will only be despatched once payment has been received in full. All products remain the property of Candlezone.ie until payment is received in full.
Candlezone.ie has taken extensive steps to ensure that any data transmitted by our users cannot be intercepted, viewed, or blocked by unauthorized parties.
Candlezone ensures the security of all protected data transmitted to and from our site through the use of a server-based encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). As you enter personal information (such as your password, address and phone number, or your credit card number), SSL encodes it, making sure your purchasing goes smoothly. This security protects you from impostors, eavesdroppers and vandals that might otherwise access your information as it travels from one computer to another. With this security, you can send your credit card number to us without risk of interception. SSL security makes shopping over the Internet safer than shopping by telephone.
If an item is out of stock, the sender will be notified as soon as possible and will have the option of 1) awaiting stock availability, 2) selecting an alternative gift or 3) being given a full refund.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible and usually within 7 days of receipt of your order. Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.00pm. We only process and dispatch orders during these timescales. All delivery and dispatch timescales quoted on the website do not include weekends or bank holidays. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 10 days.
For orders being shipped outside the Republic of Ireland, Candlezone.ie cannot be held responsible for importation taxes/duty charges.
Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate and the recipient's telephone number. Candlezone cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient's address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at that address.
It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the goods, which will be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up from the local depot or agree an alternative delivery time or alternative location at the discretion of the courier. If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to candlezone.ie and a charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address.
If you do not receive Products ordered by you within 28 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: we will not be held liable for any late deliveries if delays occur by causes beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation:-
(b) severe weather conditions;
(c) industrial dispute;
(d) strike or labour disputes
For most items, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving the goods. However, this does not apply to certain items which we have made, personalised or customised specifically for you. Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number, within 7 working days beginning the day after the day on which the item is delivered.
If you wish to cancel your order you can notify us by email to email@example.com before we have dispatched the goods to you. This Returns Policy is in accordance with The European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7/EC). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
In order to provide a fast service some products are immediately sent for production. Please check your order on screen and the confirmation email carefully as we cannot refund products which have been mis-spelt.
The colour of the product you receive may not match the colour as displayed by our website on your computer monitor. Please be aware that if colour is important to you, your order is placed at your own risk.
We have made all reasonable efforts to ensure each photograph accurately reflects the product being sold. On occasions, there may be differences between the product's appearance in the photograph and the item delivered due to manufacturing changes beyond our control.
In using the Photo Upload facility on the website, you agree not to upload or print any images that will cause distress or offence to any person. It is your responsibility to ensure that express permission for any images you use has been granted by the owner of any image. Candlezone.ie reserve the right to refuse to process any order that may cause offence or distress to others – in such a case we will refund any payment made. Candlezone.ie will not be responsible for any copyright infringement by the customer.
